Dear Cross Stitchers,
Joy & I have really enjoyed hearing from our prize winners and it has been very interesting to see what they have chosen. Joy always enjoys the challenge of drawing up new designs that may be of interest to other stitchers.
This delightful chart was designed for prize winner Gillian Southwood who is stitching the sampler for her son Morgan.
|
Gillian told us that Morgan is mad about tractors, diggers, cars, trains and planes in that order. He has a red/blue bicycle that he has just learnt to ride. He has red hair but tells everyone it is orange! |
'MORGAN'
 |
By pure coincidence the following day another prize winner -
 |
'KORBEN'
Mrs Ponsford from Somerset asked for the name 'KORBEN’ ‘with vehicles, cars, fire engine, bus etc. |
So we now have a range of ‘Boys and their toys’! – So thanks for the ideas. We will have to get working on the girls version now – any suggestions?
'Charley'
Another free chart went to Sally Adams for ‘Charley’ who wanted a fairy theme. So we used our Fairy from ‘Fairy Robin’ to create her design. |
 |
'Just wanted to say a BIG thank you for my 'Charley' name chart. It arrived this morning, beautifully packaged. I am now looking forward to stitching it.'
Thanks for a great service, Sally Adams, Milton Keynes.
Thank you Sally for this lovely comment.
Don’t forget if you have e-mail we always send a preview of the design before we print it so any changes can be made at that point. So you always get the design you want.
Overseas News

We were really please to receive a photo of this beautiful little girl –
Naomi is the Granddaughter of Ann Mac Rae from Portugal who has chosen ‘NAOMI’ for her prize.
|
We think she look just like our ‘kite girl’, can you see the resemblance. Ann will receive a £10 voucher towards a kit of her choice; thank you Ann.
Please send in photo's we do love to see them and if we post your photo on our newsletter web page you will receive a £10 voucher

Another brilliant idea came in from Robyn, Australia. As all her Grandchildren already have birth samplers she has chosen a ‘starting school’ chart for Hugo who lives in Sweden (Joy - ex Infant Teacher – why didn’t you think of this!).
It just shows how adaptable our designs can be in celebrating any special occasion, especially when names & dates are added to make it truly personal. We are still working on this design so look out for this in a future newsletter.
