Dear Cross Stitcher,
How many of you are going to become a cricket or golf widow in the Spring? We have both been there in past, but don't do like we did and get rid of the man - turn it into a positive situation and get your cross stitch out.
Joy has been really busy this month she has designed lots of sporting characters. We now have everything from skateboarders to footballers
(of course in true Cottage Needlecrafts style you can choose the colour of your favourite football team).

We have a page full of Girls & Boys
(young & old) sample names. This will give you some ideas and don’t forget if you don’t see the figure you are looking for e-mail us and Joy will do her best to design one for you. We are adding new sample names all the time
so please keep checking.

We have just been to the trade show at the NEC in Birmingham and we found these delightful little charms. They say 'HAND MADE WITH LOVE' on them.
We are going to put one in with every bag kit we sell.
They come in Gold & Silver. |
What's new
Next month we should have our accessories page up and running. We will be selling the charms, along with lots of other products that we recommend. If there are any products you have used yourself and would like to share with our readers please let us know.
We have also started supplying our set kits to the trade. Our first two shops are in St Ives, Cornwall. They are 'The Needle Craft and Puzzle Shop' & 'Sparkles'. At the moment both shops have a limited specialist range.
The Needlecraft and Puzzle Shop is tiny but full from top to bottom, well worth a visit if you are holidaying in Cornwall this summer.
Sparkles is a gift shop selling a variety of Cornish made products.

Mothers Day - 26th March 2006
For Mothers Day we have designed our 'MUM' Tote Bag Kit. The bag is 32cm (W) x 36cm (H) in natural cotton calico. It comes complete with Cream 14 count Aida or 28 Count Evenweave banner, Full Colour Chart, Needle, DMC threads on thread organiser, Key & Instructions.
