Hope you are all well. As part of our New Years resolution Joy and I have been picking an affirmation card everyday. We write it down and then repeat it throughout the day. Mine for today is - 'I listen with love to my body's messages'. I got up at 5am this morning to write this newsletter, my body was saying 'stay in bed, do it later' and my mind was saying 'get up you lazy thing you need to finish the newsletter today'. Joys affirmation for today is 'Just for today I make a difference'. So I think I'll go back to bed and let Joy do the newsletter. Only joking Joy!!!

The days are starting to lengthen; we are getting to the time of year when we start thinking about spring-cleaning.
With this is mind Joy has designed our ‘Laundry Bag’. It is ideal for young and old alike. Joy is thinking of stitching one for her Aunt (personalised with her own name of course!) who is in a retirement home. She doesn't have a lot of room so it could easily be hung on the back of her bathroom door. There would be no chance of this unique bag being mixed up with anyone else’s. Joy says 'I'm STILL thinking - - - too busy designing and testing out samples for my demanding business partner!!'
If you want to stitch a gift for a baby due in the spring or summer this is ideal. You can stitch the banner in plenty of time then add the chosen name at the last minute, so you would be the first with a personalised gift.
This would keep all baby’s clothes separate. Then once the baby is born you could get us to design a birth sampler for the wall!

The kit comes complete with everything you need to make this beautiful Laundry Bag. 14 count cream Aida, Full Colour Chart, Key & Instructions, DMC threads already threaded on thread organiser, Needle, Alphabet chart for you to add the name of your choice, and image of finished bag. The natural calico cotton laundry bag measures 61cm wide by 81cm high. As with all our bags the lower side and bottom seams are left open so it is easy to insert the banner once finished.
