A Name Sampler for an older child -
Louise from Nuneaton, Warwickshire likes to order 'charts only' as she already has lots of DMC silks and fabric - these work out at 2/3rds the cost of a full kit. This month Louise has ordered 2 charts 'SAMUEL' Boys & Toys and 'JACOB'. As Jacob is nearly 10yrs old, Louise chose our sporting figures and a darker more mature colour for the lettering DMC355.
Louise has already stitched two name samplers for Samuel's cousins 'Connie' & 'Olivia', she says 'Their parents are over the moon with the name samplers, I gave them as Xmas presents. They will have a brother/sister by the the middle of this year. I don't know how I am going to keep up with all the cross stitch'.
Another customer who knows the benefits of stitching a sampler for an older child - is Aileen from Inverclyde, Scotland 'I wish to order another birth sampler from you as I have nearly finished one & I am really pleased with it.Your instructions, colours & design are great. Is it possible to include a fairy, black labrador, dark haired girl with ducks, birds & any other suggestions with the name ANNA? Not too much to ask?!'

very apt as this happens frequently, & Daddy, who is a commercial pilot, is asked to look for it when he is flying!! Free Cross-stitch chart - A mother is a special part' -
I designed this months free chart with 'Mothers Day' in mind. The sampler can be set in a frame but I thought it would be nice to make it into a small heart shaped pillow & fill it with lavender - add a frill and you have the perfect Mothers day gift. The only problem is you will have to stitch it quick to get it
finished for the 22nd March
