Dear Cross Stitchers,
The boys have had their 'Boys & Toys' theme for some time now, so we thought it was about time the girl's had their traditional toys too - from prams to bikes we have them all.
If you are thinking of having a sampler designed
why not ask for some of their favourite toys to be included. If the sampler is a birthday gift include the main present (e.g.new bike) and then the sampler will become a truly personalised gift, a treasured family heirloom for years to come.

Cornish Wedding
Whilst we are on the Celtic Theme and as we are coming in to the
'Wedding Season' I thought I'd let you into a little secret. I designed a Wedding sampler for my nieces wedding which was in Cornwall. The design included a border of Cornish Tartan, the Church where the couple were married & venue.

I'm determined that she is going to have it finished and framed for her 1st Wedding Anniversary in May !!!!!!
I was tempted to ask Joy to finish it for me but I have to finish it myself! |
So the message to all of you less experienced cross-stitchers is
'If I can do it anyone can - EVENTUALLY!!!!!!!!!'
Free Cross Stitch Chart - 'Friends'
A few weeks ago I was walking along the coastal path from Mousehole to Lamorna and 'as you do' I was trying to think of a suitable 'Free cross stitch chart' for this months newsletter. As I dropped down into Lamorna Cove
I passed a cottage with a plaque in the garden -
'Life without friends is like a garden without flowers'

I thought this was such a lovely quote that I designed this sampler for all of you, our 'Cross Stitching Friends'. Joy & I have made so many since we started our little enterprise in January 2005 and it has been pure joy, well most of the time it has! Click here to view your 'Free Cross Stitch Chart'
Costing of our Standard Name Sampler kits is as follows -
First Capital - £20.00
Subsequent Capital letters - £2.50 each
Subsequent lowercase letters - £1.50 each
Message lettering -0.10p per letter
example 'JAC ARFON' - £40.20
Postage & Packaging is free worldwide so they are no extra charges |
People say the nicest things -
Barbara Precious from Lincolnshire bought a hip-hop sampler as a present for her granddaughter's (Molly) birthday, she said 'Once again, thank you for your exceptional service. Molly will have a very special birthday present. I will certainly send you photos of the completed sampler for your records. I have enjoyed the process of arriving at Molly's personalised sampler so much that I am considering doing one myself'.
