and create a beautifully customised natural cotton calico tote
bag appliquéd with your chosen name worked in counted
cross-stitch.
These lightweight bags with short handles in three sizes make
fantastic unique personalised gifts with a range of practical
uses to suit all ages and will last a life time. They can be
hand washed with care.
Choose the required name from our delightful
alphabet; you
have the same choices as in our name
sampler kit. Obviously
the length of the name will determine the size of bag it will
fit. The Aida fabric will fit the width of the bag you choose.
On 14 count Aida - each Capital letter is approximately 7cm
(2.75”) wide. Lower case letters are approximately 3cm
(1.25”) wide depending on the letter.
On 18 count Aida - each Capital letter is approximately 5cm
(2”) wide. Lower case letters are approximately 2.5cm
(1”) wide depending on the letter.
We will use our discretion when drawing up your design.

The starting price includes the complete kit for the bag with
one Capital letter. Additional Capital letters are charged at £2.50 per letter and lower case at 100p per letter. These will automatically
be calculated for you as you enter the name on the interactive
page that follows.
When you receive your kit the bottom and lower side seams of
the calico bag will be left unstitched so you can easily attach
your finished name into the side seams and complete the bag.
Short names look attractive when applied as a pocket on any size
bag.
