Natural Cotton Calico Bag Kits

Our bags are made from a lightweight natural cotton calico.
The drawstring bags have a viscose cord which, when tightened, forms a delicately frilled top which compliments the nature of the designs.The tote bags have short handles relative in length to the size of the bag. They can all be hand washed in cool water with care and are best-ironed damp.

If you wish to make more than one bag, for example you might want to make two Santas Sacks, the Calico Bags and 14 count cream Aida to fit the size of the bag can be purchased separately.

Designing new kits is an ongoing process - there is always a long list of ideas waiting to be transformed into charts and stitched into samples.
Some of Joy's earliest samples were designed over 10years ago but are still contemporary with todays trends and fashions.

Once each new design has been tried and tested (nothing ever goes into kit form unless it has been stitched by Joy first), it is added to our Set Kits page.
